The Goodwin Hammer is another of the sand maker components, featuring handles that are installed on the rotor via special pins. With the rotor’s rotation and the centrifugal force, the hammers acquire a vertical inertia, exhibiting ideal reactions to the striking stones. After the stones are hit, they are propelled towards anvils installed on the device’s ceiling, thus completing the crushing process.

The material for the Goodwin Hammer is manganese steel, and 12 hammers are used in one set, installed in 6 twin rows on the rotor.
